Instructions
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until translucent.
Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Add ground chicken to the skillet, breaking it apart, and cook for about 5-7 minutes until no longer pink.
Stir in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 375°F. Slice hoagie rolls in half lengthwise.
Place rolls cut-side up on a baking sheet. Spoon chicken filling onto each roll and top with cheese if desired.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown and crispy.
Remove from oven, let cool for a minute, and serve immediately.
