Instructions
1. Marinate the chicken in buttermilk with salt and pepper for at least 1 hour or overnight.
2. Prepare the breading by whisking together flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, about 1/2 inch deep.
4. Dredge marinated chicken in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
5. Fry chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
6. While chicken cools, chop romaine and place in a salad bowl.
7. Add croutons and half of the Parmesan to the lettuce.
8. Drizzle Caesar dressing over the salad and toss gently.
9. Slice chicken and arrange on top of the salad, sprinkle with remaining Parmesan.
10. Finish with cracked black pepper and serve immediately.
