Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Add the egg and mix until just combined.
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter, and arrange on a baking sheet.
Bake the meatballs for 18-20 minutes until cooked through and browned.
While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium-low heat.
Slice the sub rolls open lengthwise to create a pocket.
Place 2-3 meatballs in each sub roll and ladle marinara sauce over the top.
