Instructions
Heat the olive oil in a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in the crushed tomatoes and stir to combine.
Add the dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper. If using, add sugar now.
Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
If using fresh parsley, stir it in just before serving.
Serve over cooked ravioli and enjoy!

This sauce can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to three days or frozen for up to three months.
