Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
Sift in flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Fold until just combined.
Stir in half of the pistachios and chocolate chips into the brownie batter.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
In a separate bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar for the cookie layer.
Add an egg and mix until fully incorporated, then sift in flour and salt, folding gently.
Stir in remaining chocolate chips and pistachios into the cookie batter.
Dollop cookie batter over brownie layer and spread gently to cover.
Sprinkle remaining pistachios on top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
Allow to cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before cutting into squares.
