Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch square baking pan.

In a large bowl, combine melted butter and sugar until smooth.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in mint extract.
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
Prepare the mint frosting by mixing softened butter, powdered sugar, and mint extract until smooth.
Let brownies cool, then spread frosting evenly over the top.
Add green food coloring if desired and mix until the desired color is achieved.
Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to four days. Can be frozen for up to three months.
