  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar For sweetness.
  • 8 ounces Milk or Dark Chocolate For coating.
  • 1 pinch Salt Enhances flavors.

Instructions
 

  • Prepare your workspace and gather all ingredients.
  • Zest the lemons to get about 2 tablespoons of zest.
  • Juice the lemons to obtain about 2-3 tablespoons of juice.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk and butter until melted and smooth.
  • Remove from heat and stir in lemon zest and juice.
  • Sift in powdered sugar and mix until thickened.
  • Melt white chocolate in the microwave in 20-second intervals until smooth.
  • Fold melted white chocolate into the lemon mixture until combined.
  • Refrigerate for about 2 hours until firm.
  • Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Melt milk or dark chocolate and dip each truffle until fully coated.
  • Allow truffles to set at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

These truffles can be frozen for up to 2 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
