Ingredients
  

Pizza Dough

  • 1 pound Pizza Dough Homemade or store-bought, should be soft yet sturdy.

Olive Oil

  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For brushing the crust.

Refried Beans

  • 1 cup Refried Beans Pinto or black bean refried beans recommended.

Shredded Cheese

  • 2 cups Shredded Cheese A blend of Monterey Jack and cheddar.

Fresh Bell Peppers

  • 1 cup Diced Bell Peppers Red, green, or yellow for freshness.

Onion

  • 1 medium Onion Finely chopped.

Jalapeños

  • 1-2 pieces Sliced Jalapeños Adjust according to heat preference.

Tomato Sauce

  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce Store-bought or homemade.

Cilantro

  • 1 handful Fresh Cilantro Chopped, for garnish.

Avocado

  • 1 piece Ripe Avocado Sliced, for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  • Roll out the pizza dough until it reaches about ¼ inch thickness.
  • Transfer the rolled dough onto a pizza stone or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the surface of the dough with olive oil.
  • Spread the refried beans evenly over the dough.
  • Pour the tomato sauce over the beans, spreading it evenly.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese generously over the sauce.
  • Add the diced bell peppers and chopped onion on top of the cheese.
  • Scatter the jalapeños over the toppings.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  • Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes before slicing.
  • Sprinkle freshly chopped cilantro over the top and garnish with sliced avocado.
  • Slice the pizza into wedges and serve immediately.

Notes

For variations, consider using a cauliflower crust, adding grilled chicken, or experimenting with different vegetables.
