Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare an 8x8-inch baking pan by greasing it lightly with oil or lining it with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  • Add both granulated sugar and brown sugar to the mashed bananas. Mix well until combined.
  • Pour in the vegetable oil and crack in the eggs. Mix thoroughly.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • Slowly add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until no dry flour remains.
  • If desired, fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
  • Once baked, allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
  • Transfer the brownies to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
  • Once cooled, cut into squares and serve.
