Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare an 8x8-inch baking pan by greasing it lightly with oil or lining it with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
Add both granulated sugar and brown sugar to the mashed bananas. Mix well until combined.
Pour in the vegetable oil and crack in the eggs. Mix thoroughly.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
Slowly add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until no dry flour remains.
If desired, fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
Once baked, allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
Transfer the brownies to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
Once cooled, cut into squares and serve.
