Cheesecake Filling

  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar For sweetening the filling and coating.

Churro Coating

  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon For the churro flavor.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla flavoring, mixing until well incorporated.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Gradually add to the cream cheese mixture.
  • Prepare a baking dish by greasing it lightly.
  • Portion out the cheesecake batter into the prepared baking dish, about 1 tablespoon each.
  • In a small bowl, combine the remaining cinnamon and granulated sugar for the churro coating.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until set and slightly golden. Allow to cool for a few minutes.
  • Roll the warm bites in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  • Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
