  • 1 package Crescent dough Typically contains eight rolls.
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese Softened and at room temperature.
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar To sweeten the cream cheese filling.
  • 2 medium Apples Peeled and diced, such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp.
  • 1/2 cup Caramel sauce For drizzling and mixing into the filling.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon For flavor enhancement.
  • Powdered sugar For garnishing To dust over the finished crescent ring.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the diced apples, ground cinnamon, and half of the caramel sauce to the cream cheese mixture. Fold until well combined.
  • Open the package of crescent dough and unroll it. Separate the dough into individual triangles.
  • Arrange the crescent dough triangles in a circular pattern on the prepared baking sheet, overlapping the wide ends to form a ring.
  • Scoop the apple and cream cheese filling onto the center of the crescent dough ring and spread it evenly.
  • Fold the points of the crescent triangles over the filling, tucking them under the ring.
  • Brush the top of the crescent dough with melted butter (optional).
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and cool for about 10 minutes. Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over the top.
  • Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat slices in the oven for a few minutes to restore their flaky texture.
