  • 1 pound Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast Cut into even strips or cutlets.
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour For coating the chicken.
  • 2 large Eggs For binding the breading.
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Panko or regular for extra crunch.

Bang Bang Sauce

  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha

Toppings

  • 4 leaves Romaine or Iceberg Lettuce For freshness.
  • 1 medium Tomato Sliced.
  • 4 buns Sandwich or Burger Buns Choose your favorite type.
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil For frying the chicken.

Instructions
 

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel.
  • Slice the chicken breast into even strips or cutlets, about ½ inch thick.
  • In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs until well beaten.
  • In another shallow dish, combine the flour with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • In a separate bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
  • Coat the chicken by dipping each piece into the flour, then the egg, and finally the breadcrumbs.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Carefully place the coated chicken pieces into the hot oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer the chicken to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  • Prepare the Bang Bang sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha in a small bowl.
  • Toast the sandwich buns lightly until golden brown.
  • Assemble the sandwich by spreading Bang Bang sauce on the bottom half of each bun, layering on crispy chicken, lettuce, and tomato slices.
  • Top with more Bang Bang sauce if desired and place the other half of the bun on top.
  • Serve immediately while the chicken is hot and crispy.

Notes

Customize with jalapeños for extra heat or substitute chicken with crispy fried cauliflower for a vegetarian option.
