Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x9-inch baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine melted butter and granulated sugar. Whisk until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in Nutella.
Sift flour and cocoa powder into the wet ingredients. Fold gently until just combined.
In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add brown sugar, vanilla, and egg, mixing until creamy.
Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Spread cheesecake mixture over it, then dollop remaining brownie batter on top.
Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and swirl it into the batter.
Bake for 35-40 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Let cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing into squares.
Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally with extra caramel or whipped cream.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days, or refrigerate for up to a week.
