Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 12 ounces Fettuccine or Linguine Cooked al dente.

Shrimp

  • 1 pound Medium or Large Shrimp Peeled and deveined.

Butter

  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter

Garlic

  • 4 cloves Minced Garlic

Heavy Cream

  • 1 cup Heavy Cream

Parmesan Cheese

  • 1 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese For best flavor, use freshly grated.

Salt

  • 1 teaspoon Salt Or to taste.

Pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Parsley

  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Fresh Parsley For garnish.

Instructions
 

  • 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes.
  • 2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until bubbly, about 1-2 minutes.
  • 3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  • 4. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove from skillet and keep warm.
  • 5. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  • 6. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Adjust consistency with pasta water if needed.
  • 7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 8. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the sauce.
  • 9. Return the shrimp to the skillet and gently fold them into the pasta and sauce. Warm through for another minute.
  • 10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For variations, consider adding vegetables or using different seafood. Serve with garlic bread or a light salad.
