Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until bubbly, about 1-2 minutes.
3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
4. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove from skillet and keep warm.
5. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.
6. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Adjust consistency with pasta water if needed.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the sauce.
9. Return the shrimp to the skillet and gently fold them into the pasta and sauce. Warm through for another minute.
10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For variations, consider adding vegetables or using different seafood. Serve with garlic bread or a light salad.
