Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Butter at room temperature
  • cups Creamy Peanut Butter do not use natural
  • 1/4 cup Milk or a little more, as needed
  • 3 cups Powdered Sugar

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to combine the butter and creamy peanut butter. Beat until smooth and well-combined. Mix in 1/4 cup milk, then add in the powdered sugar a little at a time until it is all mixed in. Sprinkle in a little more milk, if needed, and continue to beat until the frosting is a good spreading consistency. It should be creamy and delicious!
You can use this recipe to frost either a two-layer cake or 24 cupcakes.

Notes

  • Storage: Keep any leftover frosting in an airtight container in the fridge. It can last for up to a week.
  • Freezing: You can freeze the frosting for up to three months. Just thaw it in the fridge before using and re-whip it for the best texture.
  • Pairing: Use this frosting on chocolate cupcakes for a peanut butter cup effect or on vanilla cakes for a nice contrast.
  • Switch it up with flavors: Add cocoa powder for a chocolatey twist, or mix in some crushed cookies for added texture.
  • Experiment with sweetness: If you prefer a less sweet frosting, try reducing the amount of powdered sugar and adjusting the milk accordingly.
