  • 2 cups Cooked and Shredded Chicken Breast Can be grilled or boiled.
  • 8 ounces Penne or Rigatoni Pasta Cooked al dente.
  • 2 cups Alfredo Sauce Homemade or store-bought.
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic Adds robust flavor.
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese For topping.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning For added flavor.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, add a tablespoon of olive oil and the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the cooked chicken to the skillet and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine and heat through for about 2-3 minutes.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, chicken mixture, and Alfredo sauce. Stir gently until well coated.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  • Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese generously over the top.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Let it sit for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

This dish can be customized with vegetables or different cheeses. It also stores well for leftovers.
