  • 12 ounces Kielbasa Sliced into bite-sized pieces.
  • 2 cups Broccoli Cut into small, bite-sized pieces.
  • 1 medium Onion Finely chopped.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 cup Heavy cream For the creamy sauce.
  • 1 cup Chicken broth Low-sodium.
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese Shredded sharp cheddar.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For sautéing.
  • Seasonings Salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes to taste.

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  • Add the chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add sliced kielbasa and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  • Add broccoli florets and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  • Pour in chicken broth and stir to deglaze the pan.
  • Add heavy cream and stir continuously to combine.
  • Simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Add shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes to taste.
  • Remove from heat and serve.

Notes

For variations, consider adding lemon juice, more vegetables, or using different cheeses.
