Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the wide egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the chopped onion to the skillet and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked noodles, beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and cheddar cheese. Mix thoroughly.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top of the casserole.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let the casserole cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
