Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the wide egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
Add the chopped onion to the skillet and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked noodles, beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and cheddar cheese. Mix thoroughly.
Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish and spread evenly.
Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top of the casserole.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Let the casserole cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
