Ingredients

Coloring and Glaze
- 2 cups Powdered sugar For the glaze.

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease your baking pan lightly with cooking spray or butter.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine the wet ingredients: milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until well combined.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- If desired, divide the batter and add food coloring to create vibrant colors.
- Fill each doughnut cavity about three-quarters full with the batter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the doughnuts cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar with milk and vanilla until smooth.
- Dip the cooled doughnuts into the glaze and add toppings if desired.
- Let the glaze set for a few minutes before serving.
