  • 6 large Large Eggs Boiled and peeled

  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise For creaminess
  • 1 tbsp Mustard Yellow or Dijon
  • 1 tsp Vinegar Apple cider or white vinegar

  • 0.25 tsp Pepper To taste

Instructions

  • Start by placing six large eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water by about an inch.
  • Bring the water to a gentle boil over medium heat. Once boiling, cover the pan with a lid and remove it from the heat. Let the eggs sit for 10-12 minutes.
  • After the time is up, fill a bowl with ice water. Carefully transfer the eggs into the ice bath to halt the cooking process.
  • Let the eggs cool in the ice bath for about 5-10 minutes, then gently tap each egg on a hard surface to crack the shell.
  • Once peeled, slice each egg in half lengthwise. Gently remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
  • Add mayonnaise, mustard, and vinegar to the bowl with the yolks. Use a fork to mash the yolks and mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Season the yolk mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  • If you want to create colorful fillings, divide the mixture into smaller bowls. Add food coloring or natural dyes to each bowl and mix until you achieve the desired hues.
  • Using a piping bag or a spoon, fill each egg white half with the flavored yolk mixture.
  • Add toppings over the filled eggs for flavor and color.
  • Cover the platter with plastic wrap and refrigerate the eggs for at least 30 minutes before serving.
