Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare the peaches by peeling, coring, and slicing them. Toss with half of the sugar and a pinch of cinnamon.
  • Pour the peach mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Melt the butter and let it cool. Mix in the milk.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  • Spoon the batter over the peaches and spread gently.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  • Let cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
