Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 2 cups Macaroni Pasta Uncooked, yields about 4 cups cooked.

Dressing

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise Good quality for best flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard Yellow or Dijon for flavor.

Vegetables

  • 1 cup Celery Finely diced for crunch.
  • 1/2 cup Green Onions Chopped for flavor and color.
  • 1 cup Sweet Peas Fresh or thawed frozen peas.

Seasonings

  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Freshly ground, adjust to taste.

Instructions
 

  • Cook the pasta in salted boiling water for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise and mustard until smooth.
  • Add salt and pepper to the dressing and mix well.
  • Incorporate celery, green onions, and sweet peas into the dressing.
  • Fold in the cooled macaroni gently until well coated.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
  • Serve cold, garnished with additional green onions if desired.

Notes

This salad can be customized with additional ingredients like diced bell peppers or herbs.
