  • 2 teaspoons Dried Oregano
  • 1 pinch Red Pepper Flakes Optional for heat.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Minced the fresh garlic cloves finely.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter with the minced garlic.
  • Add the finely chopped fresh parsley to the butter mixture.
  • Incorporate the grated Parmesan cheese into the mixture.
  • Sprinkle in the dried oregano and a pinch of red pepper flakes, then mix everything until well combined.
  • Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
  • Spread the garlic mixture evenly across the cut sides of the French bread.
  • Place the bread halves on a baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle a light pinch of salt over the tops of the garlic bread.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Switch your oven to broil for an additional 1-2 minutes to achieve a golden-brown crust.
  • Remove from the oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, then slice into pieces for serving.
