Dry Ingredients

  • 3 cups All-Purpose Flour Provides structure and stability.

Wet Ingredients

Frosting Ingredients

  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries Pureed for frosting.
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Softened for smooth frosting.
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar Sweetens the frosting.

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt. Whisk until blended.
  • In a separate bowl, heat milk until warm. Add yeast and let sit for 5 minutes.
  • Pour yeast mixture into dry ingredients, add melted butter, and mix until dough forms.
  • Knead dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
  • Punch down dough, roll out into a rectangle, spread butter, sprinkle sugar and cocoa, then roll tightly.
  • Cut log into 12 pieces, arrange in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for 25-30 minutes until puffed and lightly browned.
  • For frosting, beat cream cheese until smooth, add pureed strawberries, then gradually mix in powdered sugar.
  • Once rolls are cooled, spread frosting generously over the top and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days.
