  • 3-4 cloves Garlic Minced, adds robust flavor.
  • 2 cups Shredded cheese Combination of mozzarella and cheddar.

Instructions
 

  • 1. In a small bowl, combine warm water and granulated sugar. Sprinkle the active dry yeast over the top and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  • 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Pour in the melted butter and the activated yeast mixture. Mix until a rough dough forms.
  • 3. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface. Knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • 4. Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  • 5. Prepare the filling by mixing minced garlic and shredded cheese in a bowl.
  • 6. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide into 12-16 portions. Flatten each portion, place a spoonful of filling in the center, and seal.
  • 7. Place the rolls seam-side down on a greased baking sheet. Cover with a towel and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  • 8. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • 9. Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter mixed with minced garlic.
  • 10. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
  • 11. Remove from oven, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving warm.

Notes

These rolls can be customized with different cheeses and herbs. Serve with marinara or garlic dip for extra flavor.
