  • 1 bulb Garlic Whole bulb, roasted for sweetness.
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Softened at room temperature.
  • 0.5 cup Sour Cream Adds tanginess.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Mozzarella or cheddar, or a mix.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil For roasting garlic.

  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Herbs Optional, like parsley or chives.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare the garlic by slicing off the top of the bulb, drizzling with olive oil, and wrapping in aluminum foil.
  • Roast the garlic in the oven for 30-35 minutes until soft and golden brown.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and shredded cheese until smooth.
  • Once the garlic is roasted, squeeze the cloves into the cheese mixture and stir until combined.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and fold in fresh herbs if using.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle additional cheese on top if desired.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving with dippers.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days. Reheat before serving.
