Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until melted.
3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and lightly golden.
4. Remove skillet from heat to avoid burning the garlic.
5. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain spaghetti in a colander.
6. Add drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss in the garlic oil mixture.
7. Gradually add Parmesan cheese while tossing the spaghetti until creamy. Add reserved pasta water as needed.
8. Season with salt and black pepper, tossing to combine.
9. Add remaining butter and parsley, tossing until butter melts.
10. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan and parsley if desired.
