Instructions
Start by preparing the corn. If you opt to boil, fill a large pot with water and bring it to a rolling boil. If grilling, preheat your grill to medium heat. For roasting, set your oven to 400°F (200°C).
While the water is heating, husk the corn if you haven’t already, removing both the outer leaves and the silk. Rinse the corn under cold water to remove any remaining silk strands.
In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and allow it to simmer gently for about 2-3 minutes.
Once the garlic is fragrant, remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it’s well combined.
Now it’s time to cook the corn. For boiling, place the corn in the boiling water and cook for about 5-7 minutes. For grilling, place the corn directly on the grill and cook for approximately 10-15 minutes. If roasting, wrap the corn in foil and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Once the corn is cooked to your liking, remove it from the heat source and let it cool slightly for a minute or two.
Using a basting brush, generously coat each ear of corn with the garlic butter sauce you prepared earlier.
Sprinkle salt and freshly cracked black pepper over the corn to taste. Then, finish by garnishing with the chopped fresh parsley.
Serve the Cheesy Garlic Butter Corn on the Cob immediately while it’s warm, and enjoy the delightful flavors!
