Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
Spread the garlic butter mixture over the cut sides of the French bread.
Evenly distribute the shredded chicken over the garlic buttered bread.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the chicken.
If desired, sprinkle red pepper flakes over the cheese.
Place the prepared bread halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh parsley, slice, and serve warm.
