  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar Packed.
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2.5 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt A pinch.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 2 cups Peeled and Diced Apples Preferably tart variety like Granny Smith.
  • 1 cup Caramel Sauce For drizzling.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  • Fold in the diced apples gently.
  • Grease a large cast-iron skillet with butter or non-stick spray.
  • Spread the cookie dough evenly in the prepared skillet.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  • Let it cool for about 10 minutes before drizzling with caramel sauce.
  • Slice and serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days.
