Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
Fold in the diced apples gently.
Grease a large cast-iron skillet with butter or non-stick spray.
Spread the cookie dough evenly in the prepared skillet.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
Let it cool for about 10 minutes before drizzling with caramel sauce.
Slice and serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days.
