Pizza Dough

  • 1 lb Pizza Dough Store-bought or homemade.

White Sauce

  • 1 cup Ricotta Cheese Primary base for the white sauce.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste.
  • 1 tsp Pepper To taste.

Toppings

  • 8 oz Fresh Mozzarella Cheese Sliced or shredded.
  • 1 bunch Fresh Asparagus Trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • 4 oz Prosciutto Thinly sliced.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated.
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil For drizzling.

Garnish

  • Fresh Basil Leaves Optional, for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.
  • Let the pizza dough sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Roll it out into a round shape, approximately 12 inches in diameter.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Transfer the rolled-out dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Spread the white sauce evenly over the dough.
  • Distribute the asparagus pieces over the cheese, ensuring even coverage.
  • Layer the prosciutto over the asparagus and cheese.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
  • Drizzle the assembled pizza with olive oil.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  • Remove from the oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired, slice, and serve hot.
