  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts (approximately 6-8 ounces each)
  • 1 cup Fresh asparagus (trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup Cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika (for color and flavor)
  • to garnish Fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare the filling by mixing the asparagus, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried Italian herbs in a bowl. Stir until well combined.
  • Take the chicken breasts and slice a pocket into the side of each chicken breast.
  • Season the outside of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Stuff each chicken breast with the asparagus and cheese mixture, securing with toothpicks if necessary.
  • In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the stuffed chicken breasts for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Feel free to customize the filling with different cheeses or vegetables.
