  • 1 pound Chicken breast, boneless and skinless Cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • 1 pound Gnocchi Store-bought or homemade.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For sautéing the chicken.
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh garlic enhances flavor.
  • 1 cup Heavy cream Forms the base of the creamy sauce.
  • 1 cup Grated Asiago cheese Freshly grated for best melting quality.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning A blend of herbs for flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Essential for seasoning.
  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped Adds color and freshness.

Instructions
 

  • Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
  • Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring continuously.
  • Reduce heat and add grated Asiago cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Adjust consistency with chicken broth or water if needed.
  • Add cooked chicken and gnocchi to the skillet, gently folding to coat in the sauce.
  • Sprinkle in Italian seasoning and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and transfer to serving dish. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Consider adding seasonal vegetables or trying different proteins for variations.
