Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
Add the almond extract and mix until incorporated.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, chopped almonds, and salt.
Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
Shape the dough into crescent shapes and place on the prepared baking sheets.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
