  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add the almond extract and mix until incorporated.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, chopped almonds, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Shape the dough into crescent shapes and place on the prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
  • Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
