Instructions
Step 1: Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the egg and vegetable oil. Add the chicken pieces and mix well.
Step 3: Sprinkle the cornstarch over the marinated chicken and mix until all pieces are coated.
Step 4: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
Step 5: Place the coated chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Step 6: Air fry the chicken for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway through.
Step 7: While the chicken cooks, prepare the sauce by combining garlic, ginger, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, chili garlic sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil in a saucepan. Simmer until thickened.
Step 8: Once the chicken is cooked, toss it in the sauce to coat.
Step 9: Serve the chicken garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
