Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Chef's Knife
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 4 fillets Flounder 4 to 6 oz each, skinless
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • 3/4 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley chopped
  • 4 wedges Lemon

Instructions

  • Pat the flounder fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with kosher salt and black pepper.
  • In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  • Brush the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the flounder fillets.
  • Place the seasoned flounder fillets in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 360°F for 7 to 10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily.
  • Top each fillet with a lemon wedge and sprinkle some fresh parsley on top.

Notes

  • Storage: Allow any leftover flounder to cool down before storing it in an airtight container. It can be kept in the refrigerator for up to three days.
  • Freezing: If you have extra fillets, you can freeze them before cooking. Wrap them tightly in plastic wrap and then place them in a freezer bag. They’ll last for about three months.
  • Pairing: Consider serving your Air Fryer Flounder with a side of roasted vegetables, a fresh salad, or some garlic mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
  • Adjusting Seasoning: Feel free to tweak the seasoning according to your preference. Adding a dash of cayenne pepper can give it a nice heat if you enjoy spicy flavors.
  • Cooking Time Variations: If your fillets are particularly thick, increase the cooking time slightly, checking for doneness.
