Pickles
- 16 ounces Dill pickles or bread-and-butter pickles, sliced Choose based on flavor preference.
Coating Ingredients
- 1 cup All-purpose flour For the coating base.
- 2 large Eggs, beaten Acts as a binding agent.
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs For extra crunch.
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder For added flavor.
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder Enhances taste profile.
- 1 teaspoon Salt To season the mixture.
- 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper For seasoning.
- as needed Cooking spray To prevent sticking.
InstructionsÂ
- Drain the pickle slices thoroughly and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a shallow bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until evenly mixed.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs until smooth.
- In a third bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs.
- Dip a pickle slice into the seasoned flour, then into the beaten eggs, and finally roll it in the panko breadcrumbs.
- Repeat the coating process with the remaining pickle slices.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the coated pickles in a single layer.
- Cook the pickles for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Once golden brown and crispy, remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer to restore crispiness.
