- 1 ½ lbs Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thighs
- 2 tablespoons Sesame Oil
- ½ teaspoon Sea Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
- ½ cup Honey
- ¼ cup Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Chili Garlic Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
- ¼ cup Water
- 1 Red Bell Pepper
- 1 Green Bell Pepper
- Sesame Seeds (optional)
- Green Onions (optional)
Instructions
- Sear seasoned chicken in hot oil until golden brown, set aside.
- Sauté peppers, garlic, and ginger in the same skillet.
- Whisk together honey, soy sauce, vinegar, chili garlic sauce, cornstarch, and water. Pour into skillet and simmer until thickened.
- Return chicken to skillet, simmer until coated in sauce. Garnish and serve.
Notes
Add pineapple for sweetness. Incorporate more vegetables for variety. Add peanuts for crunch. Serve with rice or noodles.
