Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 400 grams Spaghetti or other long pasta Can substitute with fettuccine or bucatini.

Cheese

  • 150 grams Pecorino Romano cheese, finely grated Essential for authentic flavor.

Spices

  • 2 teaspoons Freshly cracked black pepper Provides signature heat and flavor.

Salt

  • 1 tablespoon Salt For seasoning pasta water.

Pasta Water

  • 1 cup Reserved pasta water Vital for creating creamy sauce.

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil and add salt. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Pecorino Romano cheese and cracked black pepper.
  • Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining the pasta.
  • Add the hot pasta to the cheese and pepper mixture and toss vigorously to coat, adding reserved pasta water as needed to achieve desired creaminess.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with extra Pecorino Romano and cracked pepper.
