- 1.5 lbs Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- ½ cup Cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- Vegetable Oil (for frying)
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- ½ cup Sweet Chili Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Sriracha Sauce (optional)
- Sliced Green Onions (optional)
- Sesame Seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk.
- Whisk together flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Bread chicken in flour mixture.
- Fry or bake chicken until golden brown and crispy.
- Whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, honey, vinegar, and sriracha (optional).
- Toss chicken with sauce. Garnish and serve.
Notes
Increase sriracha and add cayenne pepper for extra heat. Add sesame oil and ginger for Asian fusion flavor. Use honey and lime for a refreshing twist. Serve in lettuce wraps, over rice, or with noodles.
